This year's ARC Europe sailors enjoyed an alfresco evening of dining at the Dogwatch Tavern, Jolly Harbour. The sociable setting allowed the sailors to get to know one another in the lead up to Thursday's departure. At least half of this year's fleet have taken part in other World Cruising Club rallies, so for many it was a case of catching up with friends from the ARC and comparing notes on a season spent in the Caribbean.
