Orion - 4 th.day Orion

Three days on this adventure and we're really going strong indeed. 6 nationalities and a common goal will make the crossing unforgettable. South and west is the challenge but the weather dictates the decision in this situation. we were told we were placed 3rd in our division few days ago, but it is impossible to follow the race position without more reliable info. Meanwhile we continue our quest for St Lucia and the Caribbean islands. DOMINGO
Cooking is an interesting experience at sea and concocting meals that everyone will enjoy is a challenge! My pork casserole was not a big hit but was later rescued by a more competent chef... It is getting warmer now and the layers are coming off. Lots of sun cream today and more shots of the sun with the sextant. Practice, lots of practice. BARBARA
We had some good winds from the start and followed it to our best days run today of 195 sea miles noon fix to noon fix. The hold fashion hand held GPS plus paper and pencil still works. Now we head south for some more peaceful sailing. Keith
