Freedom Found - catch-up

Finally left Horta in Azores yesterday pm after another prolonged stay. This time we had a gearbox drive failure on trying to leave Horta for Terceria another Azorian island. We only had limited forward thrust so had to return to Horta harbour backwards not easy in a long keel boat. You may notice a few piroets on our track if it's still showing. Found excellent (& reasonable) mechanic who whipped off gearbox and swapped clutch cone. Horta was great very friendly and dare I say cheap! Now motor sailing through past other islands of Pico (never did see the top of the volcano), Sao Jorge, & passing Graciosa last night. Interesting fishing boats......... & lights on nets. Crew changed course to avoid as skipper slept! Now heading due North to hopefully pick up some westerly w Indus in 3 days time. Loads of fuel and food so should be ok............ We shall see
