Another day in paradise!
After a lazy start to the day - Magali still suffering from the Bowmore 12 year old - we went for a snorkel with the Wind Dancer, Matilda and Sapphire guys and gals. This time we started near Bird Island - and then did a drift snorkel through the passage. The visibility was great and we saw plenty of fish, sharks and a turtle.
In the evening we went over to the island for (another) beach BBQ - with the fish kindly donated by the crew of 'Blue Lotus' - a catamaran from Byron Bay.
Today we are planning to go and snorkel with the Manta Rays - hopefully they'll co-operate and be where they should.
There is still no definitive view on the approaching storm front. Advice from yesterday was that we should wait it out here until Friday or Saturday. We may be getting a briefing later We certainly have no problem waiting here for a while!
