We have had a busy week. On Monday we fed rays in Moorea. There were tons of rays and lots of black tipped reef sharks hanging about too. The girls got to feed the rays and even pet/feel a pregnant ray and feel the baby inside - it was really cool.
Monday afternoon we headed back to Tahiti because we had a surf lesson on Tuesday. We went with the girls from Brizo and we all had a great time working on our surfing. We all got up a bit - even if just for a few seconds! We will definitely schedule another lesson when we can.
Wednesday we shopped - 2 trips to Carrefour to restock food. It's a good grocery but pricey (as is everything in French Polynesia). Thursday we finished up last minute provisioning, I spent a few hours scrubbing the cockpit, we had lunch with the Brizo crew, then we fueled up and pulled out of Tahiti around 5pm for an overnight sail to Huahine. We're presently about 15 miles from our destination. It's been a really rolly night with the waves and we'll all be glad to enter the lagoon.
