Field Trip - Finally, some solid wind!
2:42 AM. We've been having a blast today. We are working hard to keep engine hours low. Currently about 40 percent less hours than our sister ship. Grin. Currently sailing between 8.5 and 9.5 kts in 13 - 15kts of wind. Beam reach. Fast point of sail for us, and we are really staying on top of our trim every minute. Most fun we've had the whole trip. Everyone likes fast...and for us this is great. If we get a little more wind, we'll keep Field Trip over 10kts easy. Keeping our fingers crossed......
