Crazy Horse - Feb. 1

This morning we put up the large Asail-aka Joshua. It is flying well now but we may have to jibe to keep from going so far south. The wind keeps changing from ESE to ENE. What a pain that is. Just hard to keep our straight line to the mark. Anyone who knows Bill knows that he loves the rhumb line. So we will probably be zig zagging to the coast at this rate. The fuel now is a major concern because there is not much wind and we just can't keep motoring the whole way. I think it sounds like the fleet is all having the same problem with not much wind and concerns about having enough fuel to get to Salvador. The weather says not much wind for the next few days. We have about 779 miles to go. It is still beautiful and sunny and warm.

This is way better than the sleet and freezing rain they are having back home. So I'd better not complain too much about the weather here or I'll here about it from those at home. We may be conserving fuel but we still have plenty of food out here. Not much fresh stuff but much in the freezer and in the pantry. So I guess we will be okay out here as far as food goes. We keep making the water too so plenty of that for drinking, showering and our wonder washer.

Rosemary, Bill, and Matt
