Crazy Horse - Jan 28

There is not much wind out here. It is about 3-8kts. For going downwind that is not much to push Crazy Horse along. We are motoring. Matt and Bill are putting the jerry cans of extra fuel in the tank currently. Perhaps now we will have some room on the back to try our hand at fishing once again. Not much to do in the way of sailing so I think we will put the line over. It would be fantastic to catch a tuna for dinner tonight. We do have those tuna steaks in the freezer for an emergency. I heard OJ caught a couple but they managed to get away. We will see how we do on Crazy Horse.

I'm doing another load of wash today but there may be rain to give them another good rinse. Kind of cloudy today and not at all like the first few lucky days we have had on the start of this leg. We are still staying in contact with Chessie on SSB. Can't seem to get much reception from the rest of the fleet. We are still at least 200-600 miles away from them. Our course is pretty much on a westward track. When the wind comes up we hope to be on the right side of the course.

To all our friends at home we wish you warmth from the snow and ice. Stay safe driving in that stuff.
Rosemary, Bill, and Matt
