Just wanted to let all know that Crazy Horse crew made it safely back to the USA after a long flight back from Capetown. We were amazed how many miles one can make going 900mph. Our own 8kts aboard Crazy H seems quite a different experience. The fast pace of the world certainly takes an
adjustment compared to sailing along on a pleasant day.
It was so very wonderful to see our new member of the family, Alex. He is only 2months old but looks to be a prospective new crew member. Our other granddaughter is growing so fast and so smart at almost 7 she might be plotting our course soon!
We celebrated Thanksgiving at my sister's house and it was so special to see all the family members who gathered together. Of course we bored them all with pictures of our adventure so far around the world. But the most special part, other than the delicious homemade food, was the going around the table and saying what each of us was thankful for. This part of the tradition had special meaning for the Crazy Horse crew.
Now it is time to get things done before we journey back to Capetown. We have all the lists and are ready to go. We have parts to get, doctors and dentists to visit, and people to visit.
So all in all we had a wonderful Thanksgiving for oh so many reasons and are quite thankful to be here. But soon Crazy Horse will be calling our names and we will be off again for the next part of the adventure.
