Widago - Bermuda-Azores Leg: Day 2

So far, all is well aboard WIDAGO on her maiden Atlantic Crossing. We have been enjoying beautiful downwind sunny sailing with our big blue parasailor since we left St. George's.

The cinnamon buns from Bermuda were even better this morning. This might become a problem for me as we still have half a dozen or so left, and my foul weather bibs were a bit snug to begin with. I guess there are worse problems to have.

Boys are well. They have begun stepping up to their duties with vigor and vim. Dishes were done last night, while another stood watch with Ahab. Now they are rotating in for solo daytime watches so the adults can catch up on beauty sleep.

The fleet heading over seems much more spread out than on our way up from Tortola. This is unfortunate because there is less to see on the radar & AIS at 3am. This also fortunate because there is less to crash into at 3am.

Looking forward to dinner: meatballs, mashed taters, and obviously more gravy. (potatoes are vegetables, right?)
