Nexus - 830nm to go, no wind...

Motoring in flat calm with 3kts of wind from the stern, we're concentrating on fishing but no joy yet. Pulled GRIB files again today, it looks like we'll get a little wind on Friday then again on Sunday but it looks like this high pressure ridge is here to stay. The fleet is spread out, we're about 35-40nm south and south west of the leaders with the rest of the fleet spread out across a wide area around us. Everyone has their own voodoo on looking for pockets of wind to sail in, even if it exists mostly in their imagination. Still, it's a nice day out, sunny and not too warm. We're working on puzzles and resurrecting some old salt encrusted fishing reels we found in the lockers. If we get them in good shape, they'll make nice gifts for the local fisherman we may meet along the way in Brazil. All is well.
