Aislig Bheag - log day 4 - life at an angle
We continue to make good progress, clocking up the miles, we hope to have
the 1st 1000 miles ticked off late tomorrow, which will call for a celebration.
The wind on your face is becoming increasingly warmer as we travel west, we are
still waiting for the wind to go behind us so that life will flatten out a
little. We are becoming increasingly adept at negotiating each other and moving
around the boat whilst it is at a constant 15-20% angle, which in driving
terms is about a 1:6... there have been some very impressive moves from one side
of the boat to the other resulting in much hilarity..........strictly come
dancing watch out! As a result of this we are changing colour but more due to
bruises at this point in time.
Last night Duncan was rudely awakened when his lee.....no not loin,
cloth malfunctioned and he came face to face with the floor, just as he had got
comfy and fallen asleep. A lee cloth is used to stop you falling out of your
bunk when the boat is heeled over in case you wondered.
