Second Wind - Calms after the Gulf Stream and a morning treat

I guess this is a day for recuperation as the wind is now light out of the West. Seas have flattened out and are much more regular, temperatures are rising, sun is shining so it's time to shed the thermals and don shorts instead! This morning began with a real treat of a pod of dolphins (at least 9) swimming in our bow wave. They were a delight to watch as they dived under the bow into the deep blue, clear sea and back up the other side.

Howard has been trying out his fishing skills using Cuban Yo Yo's and cedar plugs but has only caught seaweed so far and has lost one of the 2 cedar plugs (must have been the big one that got away), oh dear. We just have to keep on trying! The forecast is for freshening winds from the NE so we'll enjoy the rest while we can.
