Morning Haze - Tuna number 3 and 4 abord Morning Haze!

Okay...yesterday was like the day before...we put the line in the water and we get a big fish on after 30 minutes. We fight it for 35 minutes before it escapes. At 1100, fish on. We land a beautiful Tuna...that is number 3! We get another bite at 1400 and we lose this one again but now we know why we lose so many fish...probably because of our speed...we never slow down when we have one on the line.

After number 3 is in the freezer and the cockpit clean again, we decide to change our "magic lure" to catch something else....We throw our line in the water at 1555...At 1600, we are full sail out and doing 7,5 knots...Fish on!!! What??? This time we roll in the genoa and slow down. Guess what?...A nice 25 pound Tuna...number 4!

So far, we have had Tuna Tataki, Sushi, Tartare and Rebecca made this most wonderful Tuna soup...amazing! Tonight, Sashimi is on the menu. We are now debating if we still fish...we are afraid of catching another Tuna. I never thought I would say that!!! This time we won't send our pictures because you have seen number 1 and 2 and it takes up to much time on Iridium...we will post them all on the blog when we arrive in Lagos.

I have to go to continue debating with the crew if we fish or not?..and if we decide to fish and catch something else, then we will post it! ;-)
