Anettine - 25. May

Yet another nice day at sea. The sail has hardly been adjusted for three days and we keep sailing in 6-7,5 knots. We have done 1100 nm and have 700+ to go. This is the first day Daniel is free from sickness and takes part in the work below deck, and prepared the dinner. Jonn has been doing the main part of the cocking so far, and have become a specialist in healthy salads. He even says that this trip will have impact on his diet back home as well.
In the afternoon we had an unpleasant collision with a timber log. We heard two loud, but still soft bangs. First from the bow, and then from the keel. From the sound and the fact that it didn't really influenced the boat speed, the captains first thought was that we had "touch" a whale. Looking back we discovered the timber log, about 10 feet long and 2/3 feet in diameter. It surfaced only ones in a while. No damages found.
The night watches were nice and quit, as we were cruising in 6-7 knots with in half-wind with the course set directly to Horta. We have not seen another boat for several days.
