Nexus - Flying Squid....Really?

This morning we went forward to clean the usual flying fish off the boat only to find our substantial foredeck covered with....Squid! Sheldon tell us its normal. You can't make this stuff up. I guess they get scared and leap out of the water as we cruise by. There must be a lot of them out here, as we've found squid in the bellies of the Tuna we caught and there seem to be a lot of healthy Tuna!
Great night sailing along in good winds and smoother seas making about 10kts SOG with favorable current, although both have dropped off a bit. We were expecting the wind to shift aft and excited about flying our asymetric this morning, but were somewhat disappointed to see the wind stayed SSE, but who can complain about making 10kts close hauled in 14kt winds on the beam! We'll be just as excited when it shifts tomorrow...or the next day. We've made over 800 miles in four days, so 2200 miles to go! Rods are out, sun is high, and spirits are good!
