Azzurra - Day 6 Dorado Whow !

The night was calm, almost no wind. Early in the morning 5:30 some wind
showed up giving us a ride with 6 knots, however it died after 3 hours. So
we were back to the weather forecast. It looks like we are still punished
as we followed the ARC weather God’s advise going south to Cape Verdes.
Nevertheless it was our decision. Everything bad also has something good.
We most probably made a new negative record. This record is a good reason
for another happy hour two drinks for one and after a Board Party.
It became true. Brian had a nice catch this morning; a small Dolphin also
known as Dorado or Mahi Mahi, just enough for an appetizer. It
immediately was put on the Menu. We decided to have an early Brunch.
The Brunch Menu of today: Dorado in pieces done in Butter covered with
flower and eggs and drops of Lemon seasoned well (some Ketchup for our US
part of the Crew). Beside vegetables, Spanish Andalusia potato pan
accompanied by a nice white vine ‘Vino Blanco Panasol ‘were served.
Sails are put on Goose Wing in the morning, achieving the performance
speed of up to 3 knots! After so many days with no or low wind the crew is
very relaxed. The weather chart does show some dirty weather in front. We
hope it will not become too wet and windy. We are not the luckiest crew.
the wind became stronger. We decided to have no dinner. The wind, the sea
all is too strong to cook a schweinsbraten. It looks like we can make
some mileage.
