Shine - Day 4:Sushi and Sunshine

Dear wives,

Many thoughts from us all as you meet for dinner this evening.We know
you will all be very concerned for our welfare but do try and draw
strength from each other.Stick together through this, and remember that
while we are putting ourselves through this dreadful ordeal, it is only
possible knowing that you are behind us.

Our currently position is about 350 miles west of Nouadhibou off the
coast of Mauritiana, heading due west.
Light winds last night meant a few hours on the engine but thankfully we
were under sail again by midnight. Gently increasing wind through the
night gave us a beautiful dawn and a glorious day's sail under blue skies.
We appear to be blessed with significant computer /electronic brilliance
on board.Team TJM set to this morning and solved some teething problems
with the instruments,and I very much doubt if either Bill Jobs or Steve
Gates could have done a better job.
Last night's butterflied leg of lamb was delicious, but mindful of
eating too much meat, we doubled our fishing efforts and caught another
12-15lb dorado.Lunch was sushi followed by blackened dorado fillet with
roasted vegetables and a glass of chilled rose.Eating fish fresh from
the ocean really does take some beating.(note to Ghouls-Hugh does eat
fish so don't take any more of his fussy nonsense in future).
Today, Shine has witnessed a naked man sunbathing on the foredeck and
two naked(hairy-backed) men washing in the cockpit-modesty precludes me
for revealing their identities, but the respective wives will doubtless
guess in one!
