Incisor - Incisor daily blog 26-11-2013

Last night was really dark, with a lot of wind and rain. Fortunately at a certain point the moon came through and it is was so bright that we almost put on our sunglasses as we were used to the dark. Unfortunately this was only a brief moment and soon it  became dark again. The stars were not seen at all due to the clouds. So no astronavigation. Luckily we don’t have to do that as we have other equipment.

Well this morning we had a new passenger on board. He was not on the crew list??? Where did he came from? It was Dave the pigeon. It has been sailing on with us since and  entertaining the boat. We send him out for pizza courier and that is what we had for lunch, some nice pizza in the middle of the ocean. Hmm, sitting in the sunshine and having a pizza. Well life could be worse J.

At the moment shift is changing again and the whole crew is awake for a moment. Sandra and Derek are reading a book or just enjoying the sun. Michael and Catherine just made us some thee or coffee. Frans is relaxing and reading his eBook. Rich is enjoying the tea that was made for him. Alex is on the steering wheel and coping with the wind and waves. Hazel and Josh are enjoying the sun as well as Mark and Matthias are just getting some sleep as I’m (Ingrid) writing this blog.

Life is good and we are all enjoying being on the ocean sailing, having a laugh about the different stories that come up while being on watch. Heading direction of the cape Verde at the moment and waiting for the moment that Dave the pizza courier pigeon is saying goodbye.

Well that is it for now and talk to you tomorrow.
