Hello hello and welcome back to the world of IDEA.

My name is Marc Gentilin I will be keeping you informed of the goings on
onboard IDEA as we are once again preparing to embark on a journey
across the ocean. For those of you that have followed previous trips
this one is going to be slightly different. We are not just delivering
IDEA as we have in the past, but will be racing to St. Lucia in the
racing division of the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers or the ARC. With us
we will have Clint Brooks; Captain as usual, and myself as crew.
Joining us for the race will be 9 crew members who will be introduced to
over the next few days.

The race start is Sunday 24th November. You can go to the event website
to explore their information which includes a fleet tracker. Now you'll

Look down the menu of regions on the left margin of the page and you
will find a section titled "Featured Races". The first choice in that
menu is an ARC specific forecast entitled "Atlantic Rally for Cruisers
(ARC)".

After an interesting Mediterranean season, having been to some very cool
places it'll be good to be sailing toward warmer waters again, and right
here is where you will find all the shenanigans and foibles of IDEA and
her crew.
