Mad Fish - The Wind!

Yesterday we did our shortest 24 hour run off the target ever of 112 miles. The wind shut off and we motored all day. At 1900 a bit of breeze came up from behind and throwing caution to the wind we hoisted the spinnaker and sailed with it all night clocking anything between 3.5 knots and 5.5 knots. It worked out ok and this morning the breeze is up a bit and we are doing 6-7.5 knots putting in plenty of north to get the breeze. We are looking at the gybe to improve VMG but I am happy to get up to the 38th parallel sooner rather than later.

Crossed ahead of Johanem during the night whose crew complained that they were not allowed to fly kites at night. I explained that nether were we but its dark so no one will know!

1573 miles to go.
