Aglaia - 28 November

5.30 am and it's very dark now the moon has set for another day leaving us to marvel at the perfect star scape. It's already 23C with a light Northerly breeze pushing us ever further South with our current sail plan and enjoying very clam seas. Looks like we will be following a very traditional routing of sailing level with the Cape Verde Islands before striking off due West late Saturday or early Sunday morning and crossing in the consistant trade winds that run across the Atlantic.

Amazingly even with a slightly make shift headsail only sail plan and light winds we are still managing nearly 200 miles a day so arrival in the Caribbean still looks good for a 14-15 day crossing. If we manage this with no mainsail or flying sails available for the entire crossing I will be a very happy skipper.

Once the crew all surface in the morning will post some updates from them to give everyone a better idea of their view of like aboard Aglaia.
