Rosa Fascia - Day 2 Mon. Nov.11th

We're all having a wonderful time out here on the big blue marble. The seas
are 2 to 3 meters and the wind is really very constant all things
considered. The air in not hot yet but the suns warmth is intense. This
evening I had two night time (darkness) watches. The first having a "D"
shape moon and the latter being moonless and much darker. There was some
Iridescent algae glowing in the hull wash. For those of you that have not
seen it before, it sometimes appears in the water as cinders from a campfire
and sometimes the algae appears like small 16" wide light explosions. Like
little starbursts. Very neat to see again.

Peter J. Puky (Mate on Rosa Fascia)
