OUR VISITOR
I was on my watch at midnight when I heard a little bang
Oh no I thought it's the engine now we're really in a jam!
I then checked the equipment it was fine and we're still afloat
But I took a look in the water and saw a WHALE next to the boat!
It swam with us for ages it made me a nervous wreck
As I then remembered the boat that had a whale land on its deck!
I wished that it would swim off now and go on its merry way
Because I wouldn't be so scared if it was in the light of day!
From side to side it swam and it really was quite huge
Please don't go underneath us or we really will be screwed!
But eventually it left us so off I went to bed
But couldn't sleep with worry so I read my book instead!
I still kept a watchful eye just in case it did return
But into the night it must have swam our visitor of 20 tonne!!!
