Nexus - Ghosting along at 5kts in light air....again.

We'll it's another slow and beautiful day in the South Atlantic. We've got 10kts from the stern which we're making about 5-6kts on and just ghosting along. We got hot yesterday and stopped for a swim party in 7,250ft of the clearest blue water we've seen in a while. It was a refreshing break, and as we got back on the boat, a very large sea turtle swam by! No joy on the fishing so far, and we're now trying everything in the tackle box on the rods. Mike and I spent the last two days resurrecting two old reels we found in the bottom of the fish locker...we're proud to say they've gone from "salt licks" to serviceable fishing gear! I'm sure some lucky fisherman along the route will appreciate them. We're all looking for wind, but there is apparently a gale blowing far south of here and it's moved the high pressure trough north to where we are, and I think we're stuck with it for the duration. As long as it gives us 10-12kts true wind, we'll keep sailing, albeit slowly!
