Nexus - Rounding the top of New Caledonia and all is well!

Rounding the top of New Caledonia after motoring in no wind, we decided to head north west as the wind came back on the nose but is expected to turn slowly to the south east again, and we'll turn with it. (if not, we hear Singapore is nice this time of year!) It feels great to be bounding along ar 9kts on a close haul again, without the drone of the motor in the background. The day is magic with puffy clouds, clear sunshine and 15kts of true wind. We're settling into our watch schedules with our sleep cycle again and enjoying the ride. We're busy planning our exploration of the Whitsunday Islands (or Cumberland Islands more properly) in our down time and looking forward to Australia. It should stretch our sailing skills again as the Whitsunday Islands have 30' tides and strong currents in some places! We hear the view is well worth the climb though!
