Millport II - Millport II - Ted's Diary

Ted's log days 5 to 8

Day 5: Porridge for breakfast again. Today was a bit boring. There was no wind so we just floated on the water. I tried fishing but I didn't catch anything because the lure wasn't moving in the water.
Dad woke me at midnight to keep him company on night watch. He woke Robert as well. The sea was very flat and sparkly because of the phosphorescence. It was really pretty. We were allowed to have a mini mars bar and a glass of milk before going back to bed.

Day 6: Hurray, it was windy today so we are sailing again. It was very rainy so Dad wouldn't let me do any fishing.
Dad let us watch two movies because our wind generator was pumping in lots of power. It got very bouncy in the afternoon so I was allowed to sleep in the saloon. Mum said it would have been too bouncy in my cabin.

Day 7: Yum yum, Mum made a skippers breakfast this morning, rashers, eggs and beans. Karen and Dad were really happy about the breakfast because they got very wet in the rain last night. Dad said that there was a gale in the night.
The weather is still very cloudy, rainy and miserable so still no fishing.
Chicken for dinner tonight.

Day 8: Its December 1st so I got to open the first window on my advent calendar. The chocolate was great.
We found a flying fish on the deck this morning. They must be able to jump very high out of the water because our decks are quite high up. It was really smelly.
I had to have a shower today, it was funny to be outside in the cockpit having a wash but there were no other boats around to see me.
Spaghetti bog for dinner tonight - drool drool!
