Got off to a cracking start which was fun with sqaulls,rain and sun all happening at once. Got to the acceleration zone by the airport to find the wind backed then dropped down to virtually nothing - resorted to use the engine for a few hours to get us south as we search for the Trade Winds off the Cap Verde Islands.
Bumpy old night with little sleep but everyone starting to get into the ships routine - feel like I have been in the ring with Frank Bruno!
