Freedom Found - Day 5 Longest Day - sunrise to sunset

Went to bed with glorious sunset to be greeted today with magnificent sunrise. Shift sleeping going ok and grabbing the extra hour when we can. Showers allowed today so were now clean boys! Wind has died through night and we have gone from sailing to motor sailing to motoring....... Engine ticking over at 1400 rpm so fuel consumption should be a low .35 US gal per hr. this gives us 5kts speed. Wash day yesterday ironing still to do! Airing bedding today so all smells sweet! Some clould now appearing so hopefully that will bring some wind with them. Still maintaining the rhumb line course which brings us gradually back to English channel without being pulled into Biscay. Weatger fcast for next few days is in our favour to maintain a good NE course with WSW moderate winds. This afternoon Chef Marco is preparing 'country chicken a-lemon' served with rice & veg of the day. Just discovered that 3 bags of oranges all gone off! Nets were full when we left and these still ok. Moral of story don't put fresh fruit/veg where you can't see them. Brick is now updating 2x a day our latest position - Grant & Marko
