Lone Star - 7 May - Day 4 - Pure Sailing

Today I started to appreciate the difference between a cruiser and a racer. Having spent many a day with the sails set and never adjusting them, we spent the day trying to optimize the sails for the changes in wind speed and direction while considering the impact of the waves. Although I felt like a rookie with the "heavy hitter crew" I learned a lot and the log enty at 2300 showed we covered 200 miles in the preceeding 24 hours. That was a first for Lone Star.

We had fish and chips with the second Mahi we caught the previous day to get ourselves into the proper British mindset for Bermuda. If the winds hold on we may make landfall somtime during the night of Day 5.
