On Friday, October 26th the fleet departed from Mauritius to La Reunion. The determined female crew of BRIZO wished to make the start and welcomed the invitation to participate aboard the committee boat. It was quite an experience to watch the boats get underway. At one point, we thought Mr. Blues was coming about to pick us up. Sadly, that was not the case, and we were a tad melancholy when we had to return to the dock.
BRIZO will start on Monday, as soon as Lew arrives, and we anticipate to arrive in Reunion Tuesday before lunch!
