Freedom Found - Log Day 8 & 9 - Wed-Thurs - First casualty!

Strong winds and waves have continued up to 30kts and 10ft seas. Running SE to avoid worst of storm with reports of gusts to 50kts. Need to keep away from that if possible. Mark tried some gymnastics in preparation for the pensioners Olympics and decided to levitate whilst have his afternoon siesta. Unfortunately hes not perfected the art and came down stronly against the edge of a foldaway table - Ouch lots of blood but a quick hair cut revealed a 1 1/2 inch gash which was cleaned and steri-striped. He was then put on light duties but seems OK today having just served bacon sarnies. Phew can't go without our 'head' chef! ha ha. Curently 971 nm to go as at Fri 15:00 UTC
