Greetings from yacht Ensemble.
Early this morning we arrived in Suwarrow. We had to wait a few hours off-shore until sunrise - then followed Wind Dancer into the anchorage. Beatoo was just behind us - having also waited for sunrise.
Suwarrow is a deserted island atoll that is un-inhabited for most of the year. Robinson Crusoe here we come! We plan a few days of relaxing before moving on to Niue (subject to an approaching storm from the South West).
The sailing started off promising - but by lunch time the winds had dropped and we pulled down the sails and turned on the engine. The seas were glassy calm - and we motored all the way.
During the middle of the night, Magali kept hearing a 'mewing' noise. It took her some time to realise that it wasn't a stow away cat - but a small bird that was hitching a ride and then flying circles around us!
Looking forward to a couple of days rest and relaxation!
