Luna - Log 3 - Carribean Green Light

Oh my god - this is quite! Imagine, once again do we experience mirror-waters while crossing the Atlantic.

Yet another day and night with the engine running due to lack of wind. Once in a while we can furl out the Genoa or the storm jib and we can gain ½-1 knots on the speed, but after a few hours the wind will die and we have to furl them back in.

But, nothing is so bad that it is not good for something (a great danish saying...). We are still in good mood, and while it is so quite at sea we can relax and enjoy the sun and warm weather :-)

Even though we attach delicious and delicate lures at the end of our fishing lines, no fish will bite. Instead
we keep on bringing sea weed in, so at least that keeps us busy (Jørgen is quite happy about this; he expects
to meet a Japanese trawler and sell it all and make a fortune on this...).

Yesterday evening we had a spectacular and beautiful sunset. When in the Carribean the sun sets and there are no clouds in the horizon, you will see a green spark of light just as the last bit of the sun disappears below the water. An excellent end to a nice (although quite) day :-)

The night offered nothing but a quite (except for the humming from the engine...) time for all three nightshifts - and everyone got a good night's rest.

So, everything is (as expected) still very well onboard Luna...although we wish for a bit more wind (not too much, thank you), so that the engine can get some rest :-)
