Wild Goose - Day 4 - Beautiful and calm seas!

We have had a nice night of sailing in relatively light winds and calm seas. We all slept good I think.

Last night Lisa cooked a wonderful pasta dinner with tomato and basil and garlic and who knows what all, but after a day at sea it sure was good. She also made some fresh baked bread. I know she is disappointed and surprised to not have caught any fish, but we still have 300 more miles for that.

We are in the "passage routine" now where everyone knows their time on watch. For instance, last night Mike was on from 9PM-12, Lisa 12-3AM, Hugh 3-6AM, and Linda is on now from 6-9AM.

Winds should be good today from the East, and shifting to the SE tomorrow. I just checked in with "First Edition" on the SSB and they are Northeast of us by about 30 miles. "Outer Limits" i s near us and about 5 miles ahead. We couldn't reach "Sage" this AM - they have a receive only SSB" - but we talked to them on VHF last night.

We'll report again later.
