MUSCLING IN

Winds have increased and the waters are unsettled and choppy.  We've managed to keep Viva to our stern and have decided to keep up the Twistle rig given the strengthening winds.

Lindsey is still smarting over Malcolm's insult last night and is even more concerned about the issue in the cold light of day. Indeed, it has appeared that our crew numbers have increased by 8, overnight; seven flying fish were found on the deck and one in the galley, no doubt volunteering to be the new deckhands and galley slave.  Will the flying fish prove to be stronger and more nimble with the spinnaker than Lindsey?  Certainly, the one in the galley will cook foods more to Malcolm's liking, for they certainly won't cook the tuna!

Let me digress briefly; several nights ago I cooked tuna feeling bolstered by Malcolm's enjoyment of the first "tuna" meal.  But I'm sorry to report that upon being served the tuna dish, Malcolm wore the defeated expression of a child having opened a Christmas present, only to find it's just more clothes and not the latest toy they've been coveting for the last 6 months!

Anyway, back to the flying fish influx. In fear of her position on board, Lindsey, in a fit of pique, tossed the 8 impostors over board.  She returned to the galley, baked 2 loaves of delicious bread and prepared spaghetti bolognaise for this evenings supper - it was noted that Malcolm had 4 helpings!!yes 4 helpings!  Lindsey's feeling strong again.
