Sunday 13th July
An Arc lunch do and prize-giving at the Anchor Inn – we win first prize for the Muscat Cove to Tanna leg. There’s a few speeches (Kieron’s farewell speech) and announcements, birthdays etc. Afterwards this inevitably turns into a party with champagne flowing and ends up at the Waterfront bar – officially our leaving the Arc do!
The night ends with a hilarious discussion between Andreas (Strega - another Beneteau 47.7) and Ian regarding who has the biggest spinnaker. Andreas,of course, knows exactly how big his spinnaker is whereas Ian has no idea but is adamant that his is by far the biggest (and best) !
