Celebrate - "Colors of Morning"

COLORS OF MORNING by Jay Ailworth
Overhead at sunrise dark and foreboding storm clouds grew,
Turning the sea gun metal gray from royal blue.
A placid sea no longer at rest,
White caps foaming off each new crest.
Astern the sun and clouds play hide and seek,
While off to starboard a rainbow glows amid a squalls distant peak.
A spectral aura made of rain and air,
A simple change in the light and it is no longer there.
Soon the rain and clouds drift away,
Leaving behind sunshine and wind swept spray.
So begins another watch on this churning southern ocean,
Feeling as though I am under the spell of a spiritual love potion.
