Millport II - Millport II - Teds Diary

Day 24: Mum gave us Rice Crispies for breakfast today as a suprise.
We are still going really fast which is great but the waves are quite
big so still no fishing. Karen made her special pasta again tonight -
it was yummy.

Day 25: Dad said that today should be our last full day at sea -
hurray! This morning I thought I saw a spout from a whale. Mum and I
spent ages looking for it again but he must have swum away when we
were not looking. The waves are not so big today so I can fish. I
didn't catch anything, even though I used my special lure which had
worked everytime I used it before. We had Tom and Susie's rice for
dinner tonight. It is so exciting to think that tomorrow we will be
there that I didn't really want to go to bed.

Day 26: This morning we arrived! It was great, we went really fast
over the finish line and there was a big blast of a horn as we crossed
it. Then when we went into the marina everyone was shouting and
cheering - even people we didn't know. We tied up our boat next to
Tom and Susie's boat Adina and they were there with their friends
shouting and cheering us too. When we were tied up we had champagne
and rum punch and Tom gave Robert and I a red coke each which Mum
doesn't normally let us have. It was really great to see everyone
again. That evening Mum and Karen got us takeaway pizzas and then we
went out for ice cream. Yummy, I think I am going to like the
Caribbean!
