nothing much to report, still belting towards the Carribean at 8kts

with 520 miles left, so a sunday arrival, but looks like tosh will miss his flight which is on sunday at an airport on the other side of the island from where we make landfall. still have the occasional squall and some very large seas - which have the habit sneaking in a monster wave that either picks us up and surfs us along at 16knts or catching us at the wrong angle and spinning us around by about 90 degrees which plays havoc if you are in the process of doing anything involving, eating, sleeping, cooking or visiting the heads, which just about covers all our activities! So there have been a few bruises and breakages.

Andrew seems to be the most prone to being in the wrong place at the wrong time having butted the boom, knee'd a large winch and kicked a hole in our cockpit speaker. and occasionally we see him flying across the deck - we have discussed tying him to something, to protect himself and my other speaker!

The good people of St Lucia and the Arc welcome party will be glad to know that I managed to get the watermaker working - so we have a full tank of water and all crew can have their shower and shave before arriving - instead of looking and smelling like the ~ Marie Celeste!

anyway thats all from us on a lovely day in the Atlantic!
cheers from Skara Brae
