Second Wind - 25 Nov - first blog

Welcome to the first blog of Second Wind. Having spent two weeks in Gran Canaria doing all those little jobs which one does before an Atlantic crossing, and a slightly bigger job (when the rigging inspection uncovered the fact that the standing rigging replacement carried out only 2 years ago in Greece was not so hot). We are now on our way. With our clothes (but not our enthusiasm) dampened by a wet and windy start. We have had a mixed bag of winds, not necessarily abiding by the forecast and we are presently hard on a HEADWIND. At least we have a great view of the rest of the fleet from our slot down the back. All on board fit and well so far.
