The Windleblo crew has been working pretty much non-stop (OK, except for the evening sundowner parties) getting the boat ready for departure. Food planning, buying, re-packaging and stowing was today's drill. Tomorrow, we take in ARC seminars on rigging, communications, and tips for downwind sailing, the return to the boat for sail handling drills.
The shot above shows the crew, complete with our ARC polo shirts, assembled after yesterday's Welcome Ceremony where ARC, Las Palmas, and St. Lucia officials formally kicked off ARC 2013.
The final countdown is upon us.
