We crossed the finish line at Spit Buoy at 1700 hrs yesterday. We would have been a few minutes earlier but Giles caught the most enormous Mahi Mahi which we were trying to get aboard. It was a beautiful fish and it also fought hard! We got it alongside and it gave an enormous fling and broke the line. In Giles' words "it deserved to live".
Having cleared customs we came alongside St George's Dingy Club for the evening. Happy hour and bbq in the club where they cooked our kingfish from the previous day for us on the bbq and a few bevvies saw us retire fairly early for a good nights sleep.
